Crittall, a name synonymous with steel windows, has added an important new string to its bow with the launch of its new Composite range.

The new range should simplify the specification process, since Crittall claims to be the only supplier to offer a UK-based design, manufacture and installation service.

This new range, designed for application in the health, education, commercial, housing and hotel sectors, includes a wide choice of windows and opening styles, as well as Composite light duty doors and thermally broken aluminium heavy duty doors for main entrances and emergency exits.

The windows combine the warmth and natural beauty that timber lends to interiors, with the high performance and minimal maintenance that aluminium brings to exteriors. The aluminium is coated in-house with Crittall’s Duralife polyester powder coating to boost its atmospheric resistance.

Crittall’s Composite range meets the requirements of BS 7950:1997 for resistance to forced entry and complies with Part L of the Building Regulations. A choice of window types and opening styles is available, including fixed light, side hung (inward and outward opening), top hung (outward opening), bottom hung (inward opening), and tilt and turn.
